I find that no matter what the setting or situation, heart-level communication that pays attention to emotion is crucial.  I have also been studying NVC and other helpful things.

By the way, Dave Schoof says that you and I should maybe talk, and Dawud Miracle agrees.  I am looking to be in a small master mind group.
